1. The Story Bridge Adventure Climb is the most exciting and spectacular way to get a panoramic view of Brisbane. Climb to the top of the Story Bridge and at the mid point of the Brisbane River see all of Brisbane and its surrounds.

2. Mt Coot-tha Lookout where you will get a view of the whole of Brisbane city.

3. South Bank, enjoy South Bank’s sandy beach, the open grassy picnic spots, the shops and dozens of eating places. There are the cinemas, regular free live entertainment and many festivals and fireworks throughout the year.

4. The Cultural Centre where you will discover Queensland's arts and theatre at the Cultural Centre, South Bank. Spend time admiring Australian and international artworks and exhibitions at the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art. If you have a love for Museums, then visit the Queensland Museum, an exciting way to learn about natural history, cultural history and science and the Sciencentre is especially popular with the kids. Also part of the Cultural Centre go see a play, opera, ballet or dozens of other performances at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

5. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can hold a koala, feed a kangaroo, hear a talk about our reptiles.

6. You can’t visit Brisbane without a trip on the river. Even locals love to get out on the Brisbane River and it’s so easy and cheap to do with a journey on the CityCat.

7. Everybody loves dolphins…on Moreton Island you can feed wild dolphins at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort.

8. For those gardeners out there, visit the City Botanic Gardens or a little further out of the city are the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha. Take the train to Roma Street Parkland to experience the theme gardens such as the topiary maze, rainforest walk, lake, celebration lawn and amphitheatre. There are many public artworks to admire and a good cafe too.
